New Finishes for U-Bolts: Even More Customization Options
Every system has specific requirements. That’s why we’ve expanded the customization options for our U-Boltsby introducing a new range of protective coatings designed to meet specific operating requirements.
Our U-bolts are already available upon request in custom materials, diameters, threads, and dimensions. Starting today, you can also choose the coating best suited to your application, improving pipe protection, insulation between materials, and resistance to various operating conditions.
The New Solutions Available
EPDM Tube
Black EPDM rubber coating, ideal for protecting the pipe surface and reducing direct contact with the clamp.
Heat-shrinkable coating
A PVC heat-shrink tube is applied to the U-bolt, which is then heat-shrunk to create a uniform protective layer. This solution insulates the contact between the U-bolt and the pipe and is suitable for operating temperatures up to 50–60 °C.
Silicone tube
Transparent silicone coating, suitable for applications requiring greater resistance to high temperatures, up to 220 °C.
PTFE (Teflon®) Coating
PTFE coating on the surface of the U-bolt, nut, and washer, which does not significantly alter the component’s dimensions and ensures resistance to temperatures up to approximately 110 °C.
A Custom Solution for Every Application
Thanks to these new options, CORH U-Bolts are even more versatile and can be configured to meet the specific needs of the system, the installation environment, and the required performance.
